Flutter — Learning by doing. How and Why?!

Hi there,

Since the beginning of my apprenticeship as a software developer in my current company, up until now, I've used the same way of learning new tech.

• Pick a desired tech stack
• Watch a tutorial
• Code along the way
• Expand your knowledge further via building your own app/website

The last step in this list is the most crucial one, because programming is an applied skill, which means we have to literally APPLY what we've learned. And by building something on our own, we expand our knowledge and harden our skills.

But this time with Flutter I would like to take another approach. Meaning: I will start building an app right away, without watching or reading any tutorials. A real learning-by-doing in action.

Necessary steps are already done: I have installed Flutter and its dependencies. I have even installed its AI Plugin. So I am fully armed. What will I do then? Build a small game or an app, haven't decided yet. And I'm going to learn this framework bit by bit while I am working on a project. All the updates you'll find here, in this exact article, in the same form as I did with my 6-month-project article. I will be posting them as soon as there is something to tell.
