Hosting
This website is served statically via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When the site is accessed, Cloudflare processes technical connection data (IP address, timestamp, browser type) as technically necessary infrastructure. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Email notifications
If you sign up for post notifications, I process the email address you enter for the sole purpose of letting you know when I publish something new. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, confirmed by a double opt-in: the address is only activated after you click the confirmation link, and no email is sent until you do.
Delivery is handled by Kit (Kit.com, Inc., USA) as a processor acting on my instructions, which means your address is transferred to and stored in the USA. Kit's privacy policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to the address above. Your data is deleted once you unsubscribe. The address is never sold, shared for advertising, or used for anything other than these notifications.
Local storage
Your color-scheme preference (light/dark) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage and is not transmitted to the server. No cookies are set.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Requests by email to the address above.
