My First Website — Rebuilt with Vue

After building my first website with plain HTML and CSS, I got curious: what would happen if I rebuilt the same project with a JavaScript framework? I reached for Vue.js — one of the big three alongside React and Angular — partly because of its beginner-friendly reputation, partly out of pure curiosity.

That reputation held up. Vue's template syntax felt natural from day one, the reactivity system made sense without me having to fight it, and the component model clicked immediately. Repetitive sections of HTML turned into clean, reusable components. The site stayed fully responsive throughout the rebuild — and, if anything, became even easier to maintain.

What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed the process. Vue struck a balance I hadn't expected: enough structure to keep everything organized, but never so much that it got in the way. Its speed and simplicity changed how I think about building for the web — and left me wanting to explore the ecosystem further.
